I’m Julien Offray — a digital product designer and developer finishing my Bachelor’s at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd. For my exchange semester at San José State University I was selected as a Fulbright Scholar.
I believe the best digital products emerge when design and engineering aren’t treated as separate disciplines. I bring both to every project — moving fluently between Figma and a code editor, between user research and system architecture.

what I do
I design digital products and build them myself — with Figma, Svelte, React and Node.js. Because concept and code come from the same hands, nothing gets lost between the mockup and the product: what you see in the design is what ships.
I analyse manual processes and replace them with AI-powered workflows and automation pipelines — from prompt design and guardrails to feedback loops that make systems better over time. For my bachelor thesis I brought an AI planning system into a real print shop’s production; the same approach saves teams hours of repetitive work every week.
When an idea needs to exist beyond the screen, I build physical prototypes — with Raspberry Pi, Arduino and sensor technology. Validating concepts in the real world, not just in a pitch deck, is often the fastest way to find out what actually works.
